The MBA programme focuses on management and healthcare as practised in not only hospitals, but also medical centres, such as clinics, pharmacies and specialist centres. Attention is given to innovative methodologies, management techniques and strategies that will provide the means to overcome the challenges and competition in local and regional healthcare services. The programme aims to inculcate doctors, hospital managers and other qualified medical personnel, including nurses, with management know-how that is applicable to healthcare. The MBA in healthcare management requires a first degree in any field from any recognised university and a minimum of three years' working experience.
